Yotpo & Trustpilot - Textalk Abicart
Abicart gives you the ability to integrate your website with popular review platforms such as Yotpo and Trustpilot. This integration allows you to export your orders to these platforms, where you can enable the option to send out review emails after an order has been placed.
Use Automatic Feedback Systems (AFS)
Abicart also offers the ability to export your order information to Yotpo and Trustpilot, enabling you to use their Automatic Feedback Systems (AFS) to automatically collect customer reviews.
What is AFS?
Automatic Feedback Service (AFS) is an invitation method that can be used to automate the collection of service and product reviews.
Why is AFS important?
This feature automates the process of collecting feedback by sending review requests to customers after a certain period of time, for example after they have received their order. For instance, let’s imagine that you sell electronics online. With Abicart’s ability to connect to Yotpo and Trustpilot (AFS integration), you can set up automated review requests that are sent to customers two weeks after they have received their purchased electronics. This timing allows customers to experience the product before providing feedback, resulting in more insightful and meaningful reviews.
How do you enable AFS for Trustpilot and Yotpo in Abicart?
Here’s how you can enable AFS for Trustpilot and Yotpo in Abicart:
- In Trustpilot Business or Yotpo, go to Get Reviews > Invitation Methods > Trustpilot/Yotpo Automatic Invitations (AFS).
- Copy their unique email/API key and add it to your Abicart account under Settings > External Integrations > Trustpilot/Yotpo.
- Depending on the settings you have chosen under External Integrations > Yotpo / Trustpilot, you can choose to export the order to them based on the following three scenarios:
- Option 1: As soon as the order is placed in Abicart
- Option 2: When the order is marked as paid
- Option 3: When the order is marked as shipped
When the order is sent to Yotpo or Trustpilot, it will trigger an email to the buyers asking them to leave a review. (This is based on your settings in the respective integrations.)
Support for multiple stores
If you have a multi-store setup within Abicart, you can add separate Yotpo and Trustpilot accounts to each sub-store. This allows you to manage reviews and feedback independently for different parts of your business.
For example, suppose you have an e-commerce platform based on Abicart with multiple sub-stores specializing in different product categories, such as fashion, home appliances, and electronics. By integrating separate Yotpo and Trustpilot accounts with each sub-store, you can tailor the review and feedback collection process to the specific needs and characteristics of each sub-store.
Note
While both Yotpo and Trustpilot allow you to display reviews on your website, it is important to note that the feature under Appearance is limited to the language associated with the selected account. This means that if you have a Yotpo or Trustpilot account in English, the reviews will only be displayed in English on your website. This distinction is an important difference between the two features found under Settings and Appearance.
