Smart Domain and Language Linking
Once you've purchased your domain, you can easily connect it within the Abicart admin under Settings >> Domains and SEO.
For shops supporting multiple languages, the platform offers flexible URL settings:
- Single Domain, Multiple Languages: If you use the same domain for several languages, you must use a language prefix (e.g., /en/ or /dk/) in the URL settings for the non-base languages.
- Domain per Language: You can link different domains to different languages, ensuring a fully localized experience.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Advantage
Abicart allows you to control the folder structure of your URLs. By including the product groups in the articles' URLs (e.g., /clothes/ladies/pants/), you create a clear hierarchical structure that is beneficial for search engine optimization (SEO).
