Some days simply don't turn out as planned. We are extremely relieved to announce that the system is now back in full operation.
Let's not joke about it - we have experienced an almost unbelievable series of events that we could hardly have imagined where it all started with a tractor hitting the power grid and knocking out the power in 3 municipalities (for 20,000 households) but we managed to do this thanks to our redundant power supply.

The problem arose when the power came back on because our network provider inadvertently applied 270 volts instead of the standard 230-240 volts. As a result, several critical hardware components were burned and stopped working. We have therefore during the afternoon, in parallel with the start-up of our systems, more or less emptied electronics stores in the Gothenburg area of the necessary hardware.

Sure, we have redundant fiber lines, servers and even a large diesel generator for electricity supply (which by the way worked fine earlier today and smoked so much that the fire department came to visit). But this was a situation we have certainly never encountered before.

To ensure that we are even better equipped for the future, we have decided to sign a partnership with a provider of "co-location" operating services. This means that going forward we will distribute additional parts of our operations to several independent geographical locations - of course within Sweden's borders and with our own servers.

We have also decided to improve our customer support flows. Soon you will see a new approach that allows you to reach us in more ways, without the need to log in. We are really looking forward to sharing these exciting news with you.

Thank you for your understanding and perseverance during this challenging day. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this interruption has caused.

Wishing you a great evening!
